Peanut butter chip peanut butter cookies

Chocolate is better with chocolate, and peanut butter is better with peanut butter. Seems simple to me.

I'm not telling you what to do, but this recipe is worth doubling. Save the dough in the fridge and make cookies any time.

  • 1/2 C butter
  • 1/2 C creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 C white sugar
  • 1/2 C brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 1/2 t baking powder
  • 3/4 t baking soda
  • 1 1/4 C flour
  • 1/2 C peanut butter chips

  1. Cream together butter and peanut butter.
  2. Add white and brown sugar, then cream again.
  3. Add egg, then cream again.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients. Then add to wet bowl and cream.
  5. Mix in chips.
  6. Chill finished dough for 1 hour.
  7. Heat oven to 325 degrees.
  8. Remove dough from fridge, and drop by teaspoonful onto papered cookie sheets. You do not need to flatten the dough.
  9. Bake for 15 minutes.
